The 2020 'Trunk Road Pinot Noir’ is sourced from 20+ year old vines planted within 200 yards of the winery. The wine was fermented in a custom-built wooden tank in order to further buttress the textural richness of these old-vines. The first impression is of blueberries, Santa Anna plums, orange peel and an incredibly viscous texture that coats the mouth in rich flavors. The texture and mouthfeel of this wine is just so penetrating, and long-lasting, and brings me back for another sip! This wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered showing our commitment to minimal intervention winemaking.
